Costumes designed by television celebrity designer Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen for a London production of Peter Pan are to be used on stage in a Norfolk school's musical.
Northgate High School in Dereham has been loaned costumes for the principal characters in the musical, based on J M Barrie's original play and staged at the Royal Festival Hall, for their production at the school in March.
They were all created with a black and white theme, which the school's set is due to recreate using the same theme design used in the London show.
The school is also recreating the high wire antics of the children using wires for Peter, to be performed by Joe Phelps, and his friends to create the effect of flying.
And, to add to the buzz in the run up to the play, organisers are launching an intriguing competition in Dereham.
A lifesize silhouette of Peter Pan is going to be positioned in shops in the town in the six weeks running up to the opening night, on March 3.
Those who can find it and name all six shops where Peter has been - he will spend one week in each - will be in a chance to win two tickets for the opening night.
Director Jonathan Lodge said: “The cast look splendid in their costumes, borrowed from London's Royal Festival Hall, and are looking forward to a singing workshop with West End vocal coach Ceris Deverill.
“Set building has begun and we can't wait to see Mr Wood's designs for Never Land come to life.
