A woman was taken to hospital after a dog attack in a Norfolk village.
Police were called to an address in Gateley Road, Brisley, near Dereham, at 2.56pm today (October 16) following reports of a woman being bitten by a dog.
The woman was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
The dog escaped from the property and was found soon afterwards on School Road, where it was seized and destroyed.
The breed of the dog has not been revealed by police.
