A property in Dereham was significantly damaged when two bottles of black paint were thrown through its window on Friday August 31.

Police are now appealing for help to trace a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which happened at approximately 3.20am.

The paint bottles were thrown through the window, causing significant damage to both the window and the inside of the property.

Officers have released a CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

PC Steve Howard at Dereham Police Station said: “The jacket the man is wearing in the CCTV image is quite distinctive, so although it’s not a clear photograph of his face I’m hoping somebody may recognise the jacket and help us to identify the man.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Howard at Dereham Police Station on 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
