Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a number of items were stolen during a burglary in a village near Dereham.

The burglary happened on June 7 at a property in Swaffham Road between 9am and 2.50pm when suspects broke in after forcing open a downstairs window.

An untidy search was carried out by the suspects and a number of high-value handbags, from designers Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry and Chanel, were stolen along with a Rolex watch and other items of jewellery.

Two motorbikes from the garage, a motocross Honda CR250 and a Yamaha PW80 off-road pit bike were also stolen.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area between the times stated. Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered any of the stolen items for sale.

• Witnesses should contact Detective Constable Ellie Knul at Thetford CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
