The International Space Station (ISS) will be visible over Norfolk again in February, without the need for telescopes or binoculars.

Here’s when the ISS can be seen over Nelson’s county. All dates are in February.

• Thursday 1 - 17:31

• Friday 2 - 18:15

• Saturday 3 - 17:22

• Sunday 4 - 18:07

• Monday 5 - 17:14 and 18:51

• Tuesday 6 - 17:59

• Wednesday 7 - 17:06 and 18:43

• Thursday 8 - 17:50 and 19:27

• Friday 9 - 16:58 and 18:35

• Saturday 10 - 17:42

Look for a moving bright star moving from West to East. If you can see the stars, you’ll be able to see the ISS.

ISS details:

• Speed - 17,500 MPH

• Orbit - The ISS takes 93 minutes to orbit the Earth.

The best viewing times are said to be between February 2 and 7.
