Carers across Norfolk now have access to a wealth of helpful information about caring thanks to a new partnership.

Norfolk County Council (NCC) has joined forces with the county’s five clinical commissioning groups and national charity Carers UK to create carersdigital.org, which offers advice for carers about how to build support networks, nutrition, first-time caring, carers’ right and technology.

Bill Borrett, NCC adult social care chairman, said: “This is a very valuable resource, especially for people who do not engage with commissioned or statutory services. Having the right information and advice readily available online will help to support carers who, in the past, have been unsure of where to go. Reaching them before they hit a potential crisis point is very important.”
