Swaffham man charged with sexual grooming offences in relation to girl under 16

Police have charged a 35-year-old man in connection with sexual grooming offences.

It follows an incident in Swaffham Sunday January 7, where a man was arrested at around 5pm and taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Adam Greenacre, from the Swaffham area, has been charged with four offences:

■ Three counts of attempting to groom a girl under the age of 16

■ One count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a girl under the age of 16

Greenacre has been remanded in police custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Tuesday January 9).
