Police in Fakenham said a teenager was found to be in possession of drugs at a park in Fakenham last night.

An officer for North Norfolk Police tweeted: “A youth found in possession of this lot on Millenium Park”, with a picture of small bags of cannabis.

The officer also said reducing drug activity was one of the locally voted for priorities.

A spokesman for Norfolk Police said the drugs were seized as part of a stop and search in Fakenham at 7.40pm last night.

“The male, aged 18, was issued with a street caution around 8.20pm,” she said.

The Millennium Park is popular with children of all ages as it includes a skate park and BMX track, children’s novelty play space, family garden area, and exercise equipment for all ages.
