Ooh la la! Dereham Windmill is set to Vive La France for the rest of the month as students from Northgate High School set up a French Art Exhibition.

The 130 pupils in year 7 have created French inspired art works as well as writing their gallery discriptions and artists’ biographies in French.

The exhibition adorns the walls of the Grade 2 listed windmill and a grand opening is being held this afternoon.

It will remain open throughout March on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

Entry is £2.50.

The school aims to give pupils the opportunity to use their French for real communications and has previously received international awards for its projects in modern foreign languages.

For more information visit the school website at www.northgatehighschool.org.uk or to find out more about the windmill visit www.derehamwindmill.co.uk.
