Archant

Litcham High School U13s won the County Cup at Gresham’s School. Having already won the league, they came up against Beeston Hall School in the County Cup final.

Beeston Hall batted first and achieved a very good score of 97 off of their 20 overs. Litcham began batting confidently with the opening pair of Charlie Read and Chris Beale.

Two sixes from Charlie moved things along quickly and Litcham finished things off with three overs to spare after a superb innings from James Harvey, who was supported ably by Nathan Thurston.

The whole team have played brilliantly throughout the season led by Bill Tyler, assistant head and PE teacher, and deserved this superb result.

Back row from left to right – James Harvey, Chris Beale, Nathan Thurston, Charlie Read, Kaspar Chakrabarti, Ashley Bell, Alby Matthews; front row Robert Hooton, Joel Reddington, Ryan Curtis, Bradley McCormack, Robin Locke.
