Dereham men suffer relegation

Dereham’s men’s team were relegated from the Premier A of the East League on Saturday after a six-year stay in the top division.

On a warm and bright spring day Dereham Golf Club’s junior members continued their 2017 season by playing for the NVS Cup and the Easter Trophy, sponsored by Andy and Chrissie Brown of NVS.

The top four in Division One of the Barnes Print Central & South Norfolk League all won.

The onset of spring means the new outdoor season is fast approaching and Gressenhall Bowls Club are holding their open day on Sunday, April 23 commencing at 2pm.

Dan Zelos justified swapping teams to contest this year’s Renault UK Clio Cup with two solid top 10 performances to leave Brands Hatch in joint sixth place in the series.
