The Barnes Print Central & South Norfolk League programme was dominated by the opening matches in the three league cup competitions.

Mattishall entertained Long Stratton on a warm afternoon and looked to have quite a strong squad after last week’s narrow defeat against leaders Harleston Town.

Fakenham bowed out of the Norfolk Intermediate Cup at West Norfolk, losing 34-33 after being forced to play the entire second period with 14 men because of injuries.
