Dereham Town made it back to back league away wins by coming from behind to record a 2-1 victory away at Ware.

The Magpies started well with Toby Hilliard almost finishing off a cross from Craig Bussens after seven minutes.

The visitors fell behind after 18 minutes though when Kieran Bishop finished off Lee White’s cross from inside the penalty area.

Dereham responded well and we’re back level just nine minutes later with Ajet Shehu turning the ball into his own net in a crowded penalty area.

Dereham then looked to take the lead themselves with Hilliard, Bussens and Kay all testing Rhys Madden in the Ware net.

In first half stoppage time, Ryan Hawkins was bought down in the area and Luke Tuttle stepped up to convert the resulting penalty to fire his side into a deserved lead.

Good defensive work meant the score stayed at 2-1, as Ware lost at home for the first time this season.
