King’s Lynn young gun Robert Lambert missed out in his bid to become a fully-fledged Grand Prix rider, scoring just one point on a tough night at the Grand Prix Challenge in Vetlanda.

Although he was unable to challenge for a top-three spot in the Grand Prix Challenge, it was nonetheless a great experience for the 18-year-old in his first taste of the World Championship qualification process.

Patryk Dudek, Martin Vaculik and Freddie Lindgren earned the three spots on offer.
