Northgate set hot pace

There were some good performances by Dereham Northgate students in the county cross country championships at Earlham Park.

Year 7 girls in particular did very well, Marcella Arris coming third, Amber Cantwell sixth, Bethany Tooke 17th, Ellie Smith 39th, Rachel Clarke 42nd.

Year 7 girls in particular did very well, Marcella Arris coming third, Amber Cantwell sixth, Bethany Tooke 17th, Ellie Smith 39th, Rachel Clarke 42nd. In Year 7 boys, Josh Ramm was 39th, Harley Wilson 49th; in Year 8/9, Hannah Bebbington was 19th, Ellie Steinfeld 35th, Sean Watson ninth, Antony Buckley 40th, Jordan Cantwell 53rd, Albert van Dyke 60th. In Year 10/11 boys, Joe Sandell was ninth, Ashley Neeve 22nd, Ed Turner 34th.

Marcella, Amber, Sean and Joe will run for Norfolk in the Anglian Schools Championships at Earlham Park on Saturday.
