Highest positions achieved by East Coast members were from Jordan Rumbles who was fourth in the Youth (12-15) age group and his brother Connor who was third junior and 11th overall in the last race of the day for juniors (16-17) and Seniors (up to 39 year-olds).

There were large fields in the races for Under 10s and Under 12s, who raced in sunshine. But soon after that heavy showers made the course even more challenging. Alison Hogg (Push Sport) won the Women’s race while Stephen James (Renvale RT) fought back after losing time with debris jammed in his transmission to win by 34 seconds from Lowestoft fireman Seb Herrod.

Ian Arthurton (36th) was best East Coast member among the veterans (40-49) while Nicholas Thurgill (28th) was best in the 50-plus.
