From Soul Heaven to a Stargazing Night - here’s what’s happening around Norfolk next week.

Crafty Gang Craft & Gift Fayre at The Cliff Hotel (Gorleston-on-Sea) Tue 6 Feb, 10am-4pm, Free

This monthly Craft and Gift Fayre now in its sixth year, features over 20 stalls with a wide variety of crafts and gifts on sale. Charity stalls include Sunbeams Play (charity for children and young people with autism) and ENFG (charity for adults with autism).

The Band at Norwich Theatre Royal (Norwich) Tue 6 - Sat 17 Feb, 2.30pm, 5pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm, Adults £8 - £49.50, Wheelchair User £24.75

Written by award-winning writer Tim Firth, The Band is a beautiful story for anyone who grew up with a boyband and found those songs become the soundtrack to their lives.

For five 16-year-old girls in 1992, the band is everything. 25 years on, we are reunited with this group of friends as they try once more to fulfil their dream of meeting their heroes.

Featuring the music of Take That, Britain’s most successful boyband of all time, whose songs include Never Forget, Back for Good, A Million Love Songs, Greatest Day, The Flood, Relight My Fire, Shine and Rule the World. The show also stars the winners from the BBC’s Let it Shine, Five to Five.

The Band is now the fastest selling musical theatre tour of all time and this is a chance to see the brand new production before it hits London’s West End.

Teechers at Norwich Playhouse (Norwich) Tue 6 – Wed 7 Feb, 1pm, 7.30pm, Adults £14, Concessions £12, Students £8.50

Blackeyed Theatre revives its highly acclaimed production of John Godber’s classic comedy about life at a struggling ‘sink school’ for Mr Nixon, an unsuspecting new drama teacher.

Featuring breathtaking ensemble performances and a bang-up-to-date soundtrack, Teechers brings to life an array of terrifying teachers and hopeless pupils through the unique eyes of Salty, Gail and Hobby; three Year 11 students about to leave school for good.

Go Wild in the Woods – A Family Adventure at Oxburgh Hall (Oxborough) Sat 10 Feb, 10am-3pm, £9.50 per child (with campfire lunch included)

Take part in a range of exciting woodland activities in Oxburgh Hall’s Home Covert woods, including spotting wildlife, making woodland crafts, den building and collecting firewood. You will then share a tasty vegetable and bean stew, cooked over a campfire. This event is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Intellectual Hooligans – Improv Comedy at the Maddermarket Theatre (Norwich) Sat 10 Feb, 8pm, £6 per person

Joe Brown Solo Show ‘Just Joe’ plus special guests at Alive Corn Exchange (King’s Lynn) Sun 11 Feb, 7.30pm, £31 - £33.50 per person

The cheeky chappie with the cockney accent has bridged assorted musical genres with stellar aplomb. Now, following a successful trial run last year, Joe is embarking on his first national solo tour. No band, no backup musicians – just Joe Brown, upfront and personal. One of the UK’s original rock ‘n’ roll guitar pioneers, he’s become a leading light for the ukulele.
