A bid has been lodged to create a new retirement community near a market town.
The plans could see the scheme built on land at Grange Farm in Etling Green - a small hamlet a short distance away to the east of Dereham.
Nine homes for retirees and six self-build homes are proposed for the site by applicants, NR20 Developments Ltd.

The developers, who are seeking outline planning permission for the scheme, have said it will help meet the growing need for housing for older people while creating a safe community close to the amenities of Dereham.
Locals have given mixed views to the proposal, with one couple in full support but another homeowner nearby has objected.

They fear the style of the homes would spoil the look of Etling Green and the track leading to the site was already covered in potholes and it would not be able to cope with the extra traffic travelling on it.
The public has until January 29 to comment on the application, which can be found on Breckland Council's website (Ref: 3PL/2023/1222/O).
