A road closure to install a new zebra crossing in Dereham will take place next month.
Planned works will start on Monday, March 25, and include a new zebra crossing in Quebec Road to make it safer for pedestrians near the school.
Road resurfacing will also take place from the northern golf club entrance to just north of the junction with De Narde Road.

A full road closure outside De Narde Road from April 9 to 10, between 7am – 5pm will enable the road to be resurfaced.
Access to properties will be maintained at all times with a fully signed diversion route put in place.
Short delays for vehicles can be expected when work is taking place in front of the De Narde Road Junction.

Temporary pedestrian paths will be provided and bus operators will be informed so necessary changes to stops or routes can be planned.
The works are expected to take three weeks to complete (weather permitting) and will cost £200,000.
The Norfolk County Council project is being funded by Active Travel England as part of phase four of the Active Travel fund.
