Dereham Town complete their preparations for the new season with a friendly against Anglian Combination neighbours Mattishall this Friday evening.
The match at Aldiss Park will see the sides competing for the inaugural Tony Barker Cup.
The game gets under way at 7.45pm and admission is free.
New boss Neal Simmons and his players will then have a little over a week to wait for their opening game in Division One of the newly named Bostik League North at home to Cheshunt on Saturday week (3pm).
The focus at the weekend was on former boss Matt Henman, who returned for a testimonial game on Sunday. The fixture saw Dereham Town 2012-13 - the season Henman guided the club to promotion - beat a Dereham X1 3-2. It was a memorable afternoon for Henman, who tweeted: 'Thanks to everyone who made it such a special and enjoyable day. Great to have one last game in the old black & white!'
