Breckland Youth Council has been given a 10,000 Christmas windfall to spend on local projects.
The cash is available to spend by the end of January 2010 providing it meets the criteria of stronger and safer communities, improvements in health and well being, improving access to services or being environmentally sustainable.
The project could be anything from outdoor park play equipment, purchasing trees for planting to new equipment for an existing group.
After January 12 a shortlist will be drawn up and the projects chosen will have the chance to 'sell' their ideas to a panel of Youth Councillors at a presentation evening.
Winning projects will be announced on January 28 and applications can be for anything from 50 up to a massive 10,000.
Application forms are available through Breckland Council's website: www.breckland.gov.uk and further information can be obtained from Caroline Cox on 01362 656870.
