Four Norfolk restaurants have been included among the best places to eat in the region in a prestigious travel guide.

Best of Britain named these Norfolk eateries as some of the top spots to visit in East Anglia.

1. Brisley Bell

The restaurant has been included in Estrella-Damm's top 100 gastropubs and was named the UK's best beer garden at the Great British Pub Awards 2021.

The Brisley Bell offers seasonal food over multiple menus with dishes including roasted pork belly, pan-fried calf's liver and grilled seabass.

2. Socius

This restaurant, which opened in 2018, was named AA's Restaurant of the Year in 2022.

It already had a spot in the Michelin Guide and holds two AA rosettes.

Socius offers locally sourced and seasonal produce in the form of small plates designed to be shared. Dishes are changed every few months to reflect the seasons.

3. Byfords

This restaurant, which is also a B&B and shop, was named one of the UK's 100 best places for a brunch or roast dinner by OpenTable.

The Byfords dinner menu includes grazing dishes and platters as well as mains such as kedgeree, stone-baked pizza and roasted salmon linguini.

4. Park Farm Hotel

Seasons restaurant is one of the places to eat within the hotel and has one AA rosette.

Park Farm has a menu with Brancaster mussels, honey-roasted duck breast, grilled skate wing and wild mushroom and chickpea wellington.
