A Norfolk primary school is hoping to paint its guests all the shades of the rainbow - as they are hosting their village's first-ever colour run.
The Friends of Yaxham Primary School is holding the fund-raising colour fun run on July 1 on the school’s field. The friends pay for any surplus requirements or school trips.
Secretary of the friends, Ralph Burton, said they wanted to offer something unique this summer.
“We believe it's the first colour run in the Dereham area. I’ve been living here for 20 years and cannot remember an event like this.
“Its something a bit different, we wanted to open it up to the community and hope the whole family will come along have some fun and take part.”
Tickets for the event are £5, and you’ll be provided with a white t-shirt to run around the school field course - which will have some obstacles.
The event will also feature street food vans, a petting corner, and much more.
