A small-batch kettle corn brand based in the heart of Norfolk has brought a taste of the US to East Anglia.

Heather Dent runs Heather's Kettle Corn from her home in Little Fransham, near Dereham, with her husband William, and the flavours range from cinnamon and caramel to jalapeno.

Mrs Dent is originally from the north of England but lived in Washington state for 25 years, where she met her military veteran husband.

The pair moved to the UK three-and-a-half years ago and brought kettle corn across the pond, living in Wiltshire for six months before a chance encounter led them to relocate to Norfolk.

Mrs Dent said: "We were selling kettle corn at the Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire and Americans there from RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall [on the Norfolk and Suffolk border] loved it and said we needed to be closer to them.

"Customers say it is the best popcorn ever had and that it is full of flavour."

Fast forward to 2023 and they are stocked in places such as Jarrold and Drove Orchards Farm Shop, send online orders across the UK and do regular events, including at the RAF bases.

The next event is Creake Abbey Farmers' Market on June 3.
