The day at Bradenham’s home ground will also include fairground rides, an inflatable obstacle course, a barbecue, bar, live music, a raffle and an auction.

Mr Sandford said: “The whole of the football community, both amateur and pro have got behind this game for Peter, which I am sure will be a lovely family occasion.

“We also have had many auction items donated to raise funds, including a signed Harry Kane picture, a Norwich City shirt and shorts from 1985 in a frame signed and much more.

“Peter is a dear friend, and we want to raise some money to make sure he can enjoy some time with his family.”

Gates will open at midday. Entry is £5 per person, with free entry for children.  All money raised will go to Mr Moore and his family.

“As the football world always does, let’s get behind this and help our friend and former teammate,” Mr Sandford said.

“Any players or anyone wanting to lend a hand please get in touch. Let’s do Peter proud.”
