The team at Dereham Windmill is gearing up for a day of thrills and family fun as it hosts a teddy bear zip wire challenge.
Teddy bear owners are invited to bring their favorite plush companions to witness them take on a thrilling descent from the top of the famous windmill, in Greenfields Road.
There will also be attractions and activities on-site including a free colouring-in area for budding young artists, a raffle, a teddy and toy tombola and a children's ‘take a book, leave a book’ corner.
There will also be face painting, craft and charity stalls, and the Partea Hut tea room will be open and serving homemade scones and cakes.
It costs £2 to enter a teddy in the challenge, and proceeds will go towards supporting Dereham Windmill's ongoing initiatives and maintenance.
The fun day takes place on Sunday, September 3 from 11am-2pm.
The windmill is the last of several that once existed in the Dereham district.
It was rescued from dereliction in the 1980s.
