Step into Christmas as a Norfolk farm shop has transformed its neighbouring barn into an indoor festive market.

The Christmas Shed is back at The Goat Shed in Honingham, just off the A47 between Norwich and Dereham, and it is open daily from now until Christmas Eve.

The magical shopping destination has more than 15 huts surrounding a 15-foot-tall Christmas tree.

These are stocked with decorations, gifts, treats and tipples from Norfolk and beyond.

There is also a ‘build-your-own’ hamper station for customers to create the perfect gift for their loved ones.

The Norfolk brands stocked include Stuart Butcher Photography, Heather's Kettle Corn, Black Shuck Gin, Home Farm Gin, Gnaw Chocolate, The Norfolk Cookie Company and Lucy Loveheart Prints.

The Goat Shed Farm Shop and Kitchen will also be decorated for Christmas from November 1.

It will be filled with festive treats and an array of local cheeses, including their own goat’s cheese made on-site.

The festive menu has already launched, with seasonal dishes such as a roast fig, prosciutto and Wensum White toasted ciabatta and chocolate hazelnut pancakes.

This can be enjoyed by the cosy log burner while looking out at the goats.

Sam Steggles, The Goat Shed owner, said: "Christmas is a really important time of year for The Goat Shed and we are all working hard to make it a magical experience for our customers.

‘In the build-up to Christmas, we will have delicious in-store tastings with local brands, along with festive performances from local carol singers, bell ringers and brass bands.

"We are also expanding our homemade bakes in-store and working on festive cookies, mince pies and a brand-new festive sausage roll."

The Goat Shed and Christmas Shed opening times are Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm and Sundays 9.30am to 4pm, with plenty of free parking.
