A mid-Norfolk town will host its first pride march next month.
The march, which will be brought together by Dereham Does Pride, aims to celebrate the town's LQBTQIA+ community on Saturday, July 6.
It forms part of Dereham Does Pride's second edition of an event of the same name.
In addition to the march, Dereham Does Pride will also include drag acts, an ABBA tribute show, a burlesque show, over 35 local craft stalls, food and drinks on offer throughout the day, and more.
Kerry King, the co-chairperson of Dereham Does Pride, said that the Rainbow Trail, which will be held in the run up to the big event, is definitely an activity to join.
"It's a great opportunity to get out in the town and meet the shops and businesses taking part.
"They have been so supportive of us, and we'd love to return the favour," Mrs King said.
Mrs King said that there will be plenty of stalls, food and entertainment to keep the crowds busy, and added "but for me, it's always about that one person who used to feel like an outsider before but can now feel like they belong in Dereham."
Mrs King, who also owns Pride & Seek on Norwich Street, said: "We just want people to feel welcome. It's important for everyone to feel included and that there is someone else they can be themselves with."
The march will begin at 12pm at the King's Head, and attendance is free.
Organsiers of last year's event said about 800 people took part in the day, a figure they were delighted with.
