A shopping centre is hosting a space-themed family fun day to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
Dereham Shopping Centre first opened its doors in 2004 after construction began the previous year.
To mark its 20th birthday, the centre will be transformed into a galaxy of fun on Saturday, August 30.
There will be games, market stalls, music, and children’s entertainment, as well as a treasure hunt, fancy dress competition, and prizes.
It will see children take part in a stellar treasure hunt hosted by local shops, and young space explorers are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite cosmic characters for the chance to win out-of-this-world prizes.
The centre will be marking two decades as a central hub for shoppers, with the first store opening for business in 2004.
Jerry Fuller, asset management director for Dencora, said: "Despite some economic challenges, the shopping centre continues to thrive.
"In fact, this past April saw our highest visitor numbers for that period since 2019.
"We're excited to host a family fun day to mark the 20-year anniversary - an opportunity for the whole community to come together and celebrate in style."
The fun day will take place on Saturday, August 30, between 10am and 4pm.
Families are encouraged to attend in fancy dress.
