Seven restaurants in Norfolk have retained their Michelin accreditations in 2026.

This year’s Michelin stars were announced during a ceremony in Dublin on Monday evening.

Meadowsweet in Holt, The Neptune in Hunstanton, Morston Hall in Morston and Mark Poynton at Caistor Hall in Caistor St Edmund all retained their one Michelin star status.

One Michelin star is awarded to restaurants that "use top quality ingredients, where dishes with distinct flavours are prepared to a consistently high standard".

Three venues have also retained their Bib Gourmand status this year.

The Bib awards are named after Michelin’s Bibendum mascot and were launched in 1997 to recognise restaurants outside the guide’s traditional fine dining price bracket.

In 2019, this was specified as venues serving three courses for £30 or under, but Michelin now says there is “no set formula” to win a Bib.

Instead, restaurants must offer “good quality, good value cooking”.

The Wildebeest in Stoke Holy Cross, The Gunton Arms in Thorpe Market and Sculthorpe Mill in Sculthorpe all have a Bib Gourmand.
