A 20mph speed limit is set to be extended in a Norfolk village from next week.
This will involve new signs being installed on Burgh Lane, Norwich Road and Mill Street in Mattishall.
Temporary traffic lights will be in effect on April 16, with motorists warned to expect disruption.
The work is being carried out by Norfolk County Council and is expected to cost up to £6,000.
A spokesman for the county council said: "The extended 20mph will provide a safer road for all users around All Saints Church and the surrounding junctions.
"The new speed limit is part of Norfolk County Council’s ongoing work to improve safety and accessibility within rural villages.
"The scheme has been developed following site assessments and consideration of existing speeds and village character.
"The county council thanks people for their patience while this road improvement work is carried out."
The speed limit changes come off the back of a two-day closure on Dereham Road in the village this month, limiting people's access to Mattishall Surgery.
