Ten pubs are in the running to be named the best in Norfolk.

From foodie destinations in tiny villages to characterful city boozers, the pubs are all vying for votes in the Muddy Stilettos Awards.

The awards celebrate independent businesses across the country and have regional categories.

Nearer to Norfolk's coastline, The Carpenters Arms in Wighton, The Chequers in Thornham, The Langham Blue Bell in Langham and The Rose and Crown in Snettisham all made the top 10.
