Drivers are set to face a full weekend of diversions amid another A47 closure.
The major road will be closed in both directions between Longwater Interchange and Dereham Interchange from 8pm on May 29 to 6am on June 1.
The closures are part of a major project by National Highways to turn the five-mile stretch from North Tuddenham to Easton into a dual carriageway.
During the closure, side road access to this section of road will be shut from 7.30pm and those living directly on the A47 will be escorted through the closure when needed.
The official diversion route is approximately 65 miles long with westbound traffic being directed eastwards on the A47, joining the A11 and leaving at Thetford to join the A134 heading northwest.
At Mundford, drivers will take the A1065 north towards Swaffham and then re-join the A47 at Swaffham heading east, with eastbound traffic doing the route backwards.
Once the work is complete, drivers will use a new road layout at Lyng Road and the A47.
The new route to Mattishall Lane is also being prepared
An abnormal load travelling from King's Lynn to Necton will also use part of the diversion between Swaffham and Necton on May 31 from 9am until 1pm.
Drivers are being urged to allow extra time for their journeys.
