A town centre gym has confirmed it will be closing later this month as it prepares to relocate to a new site.

New Revolution (NR) Health and Fitness Club is taking over a 24,000 sq ft unit on the high street in Dereham.

The unit was previously occupied by Wilko, which closed in 2023 after the chain went into administration.

The business will move from its current site on Norwich Street, with the unit to be restored to its original state.

It was announced that the venue will shut from midnight on June 24, with members granted multi-site access during this period.

A spokesman for NR said: "We’re incredibly excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to welcome you to our new facility.

"Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding as we make this exciting transition.

The new facility will be spread across two floors and include a boxing area, coffee shop, NRRox space, recovery areas, reformer Pilates studio, and sauna among other features.

It is currently scheduled to open on July 1.
