Search the Public Notice PortalA planning bid has been launched by a couple for a 'high-quality' and 'sustainable' self-build home.
Mr and Mrs Parfitt are hoping to build and live in the property on land at West End in Bradenham near Dereham.
The home would be spread across two storeys and include a study, lounge, kitchen, and dining room on the ground floor.
A total of four bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms have been planned for the first floor.
The layout of the site also includes a garage, a parking area to the east, and a generous private garden to the west.
A design and access statement said the development will deliver "a high-quality, sustainable, and context-sensitive scheme".

The statement added that the home will respond positively to site characteristics and the needs of the occupants and "would not harm the character or appearance of the countryside".
A decision on the outline application is due to be made by Breckland Council at a later date.
The plans can be viewed on the council's planning portal, using the reference: PL/2026/0604/OMIN.
