Astronomy fans across Norfolk were treated to an astral delight as the best solar eclipse in decades was captured across the county.
Many people looked up to the sun on Wednesday evening using special glasses or homemade solar eclipse gear made from cereal boxes.
Photographer Chris Bishop joined the crowds on the clifftop at Hunstanton to witness the rare event.

Steve and Caroline Robb and their nan, Phyllis Gristwood, were visiting Hunstanton from London.
Mrs Gristwood, 90, said she has seen several eclipses during her lifetime.
"I saw the one in 1999 and some when I was a kid," she explained. "There wasn't all this talk about glasses and all that when I was young."

Mrs Robb said she and her husband went all the way to Cornwall to see the 1999 eclipse.
"My gosh, it was an amazing experience," she said.
"All the sheep went into a huddle, all the lights on the road lit up, it was eerie, totally eerie."

As well as using cameras and smart phones, others used telescopes to capture the event.
Dan Smith in Hingham brought out his Dwarf3 telescope to witness the eclipse.
Many skygazers ditched cameras and went back to basics, enjoying the spectacle with colanders and bits of paper.

People also used nature to help them, with Carrie Wright in Sutton, near Wymondham, using the trees while on her dog walk to help her see the eclipse.
In Norwich, crowds gathered at Mousehold Heath to watch the spectacle, with dozens seen facing the sun with glasses and makeshift equipment.
