Norfolk could be hit with another wave of hot weather just weeks after thunderstorm warnings.
Parts of the county are under a yellow Met Office warning for thunderstorms until 9pm today and have been under several this week.
The forecaster has warned that flooding and damage is possible for homes and businesses.
Temperatures have been in the low 20s across the county and are expected to remain that way into next week.
However, new weather data suggests another heatwave is on the way to parts of England at the start of next month.
The GFS weather model at WX charts predicts that temperatures in parts of the country could reach 28C on Saturday, September 5 through to Monday, September 7.
The long range Met Office forecast for the start of September said it was "likely remaining unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain across all areas at times".
It added: "Temperatures are likely to be near average, although some short-lived warm or very warm spells are possible, especially in the south."
