A pledge has been made to step up CCTV coverage and street patrols in a town amid community concerns over yobbish behaviour.
Dereham Taskforce said these new measures were part of efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour in the town.
The group, made up of volunteers, police, housing and social care representatives, has held its latest meeting to discuss issues in the town.
It highlighted that recorded incidents of crime in Dereham remain lower than the same period last year.
However, a spokesman for the taskforce acknowledged that "public confidence is also shaped by how safe and welcoming the town feels".

They added: "Police and partners will continue to use available powers, including Community Protection measures and the Public Spaces Protection Order, alongside patrols and engagement where appropriate.
"Further work is under way on CCTV coverage, public toilet concerns, street warden patrols around the start of term, and support for vulnerable people.
"The taskforce will continue to press for active involvement from Norfolk County Council, NHS partners and other agencies where issues fall outside the direct responsibilities of Breckland District Council or the police".
Locals and businesses also raised concerns over the appearance and condition of parts of the town centre, public toilets, vulnerable individuals needing support, and the impact of some "poorly managed properties".
The taskforce described them as "complex issues", but reassured locals that "progress is being made".

It said that Breckland Council was continuing enforcement work on "problematic" town centre properties and exploring wider options such as additional licensing and Article 4 controls to strengthen the management of rented accommodation.
The group also highlighted it would update affected local partners, including schools and community representatives, where sensitive operational matters allow.
The spokesman added: "Partners remain committed to working together, sharing information appropriately and taking practical action to help Dereham feel safe, supported and welcoming for residents, businesses, schools and visitors".
