A library has been named one of the 10 best in the UK in a national ranking.
Dereham Library in High Street earned the recognition based on Google reviews, making it the only library in Norfolk to reach the top 10.
The list, compiled by education assistance experts at Single Mothers Guide, analysed the ratings of 640 public libraries with at least 50 reviews.
Dereham Library averages 4.81 stars from 79 reviews and achieved 10th place.
Dawn Yates, an education assistance expert at Single Mothers Guide, said: "Libraries are one of the few places left where a family can spend a whole afternoon without spending a penny, and reviews like these show how much people value the ones that get it right.
"Borrowing books costs nothing, most libraries have free computers and wifi, and many run homework clubs and rhyme times for babies and toddlers, which all help when money is tight.
"It’s worth checking what your local library puts on, because a lot of it is free and plenty of families don’t know it’s there."
Macclesfield Library in Cheshire topped the list with 4.85 stars.
