Search the Public Notice PortalThe next stage of plans to build a large-scale housing development in a market town is set to be given the go-ahead.
A reserved matters application had been put forward by Glavenhill Strategic Land for 89 homes near Westfield Road in Dereham.
The development forms part of a larger allocated housing site which has permission for up to 380 properties.
Proposals for the 89-home extension to 'slot in' to the land were given the green light in March 2023.

The application has since been split into phases, with the siting, design, external appearance, means of access and landscaping of the homes now being considered.
Each home would be two-storeys, with nine one-bed, 13 two-bed, 46 three-bed and 21 four-bed properties planned.
Access will be served by an internal link road that connects Shipdham Road in the west with a new roundabout to Yaxham Road in the east via Westfield Lane.
New and replacement tree planting as well as planting within open spaces and areas of amenity grass were detailed in the landscaping.
The developer argued that the wider scheme would present "a highly desirable place to live for the 21st century and beyond" and "respect the local character".

But concerns were raised about the wider road infrastructure that had been included as part of the development.
Whinburgh and Westfield Parish Council said the proposed school and bay parking areas were "insufficient" and highlighted delays to the construction of the replacement railway bridge over Westfield Lane.
In response, a planning officer report said these matters were dealt with through earlier outline permission and legal agreements, with the plans recommended for approval.
Breckland Council will make a decision on the application at a planning committee meeting on October 27.
