Search the Public Notice PortalConstruction work on a new £279,000 skate park is gathering pace ahead of its planned opening.
The facility will replace the previous park at Dereham Recreation Ground, which was installed more than 20 years ago.
It was described by the town council as "coming to the end of its useful life", with concrete wearing away on the ramps.
Wheelscape, a design and construction company, was commissioned to refurbish the site, with photos showing the latest progress.
Demolition of the old facility has now finished and some of the new ramps have been installed at the park.
A public event was held in January to engage with the community on the initial plans and what would encourage people to use the facility more, resulting in revisions and extensions of the designs.
The consultation engaged with existing users of the skate park and reached out to people who did not use the previous facility because they felt uncomfortable doing so or were unable to do so through disability.
Some of the features at the new park include ledges, flatbanks, quarter pipes, roll-ins and level changes among others.

A spokesman for Dereham Town Council said: "We would like to thank all those who engaged with the designers back in January, your input has genuinely helped to bring forward a much better facility."
"While it was never going to be possible to include all the features everybody would like, the designers have tried to include features for experienced confident skaters, less confident skaters, along with BMX and people with disabilities".
The revamp was due to begin earlier this year, but was pushed back due to delays on other projects in the area.
No opening date has been provided for the new facility, although further details are expected to be announced soon.
The total cost of the project will be £279,000 with £25,000 provided by Breckland Council’s Pride funding.
