Search the Public Notice PortalA planned residential development in a village has been scrapped after locals said it would cause "disruption" and "danger".
Mrs M Fletcher was hoping to build two new homes and convert a barn into a property on Street Farm in Foxley near Dereham.
Each home would have included three bedrooms, an entrance hall, dining room, kitchen, sitting room and utility room.
It was argued that the proposal would "positively contribute" to the character of Foxley and provide "high quality homes tailored to local needs".

Previous plans for five homes on the farm were refused after concerns were raised about the countryside location and the properties resulting in "poor living conditions".
Now the most recent plans have been withdrawn, with backlash over what some describe as "no substantive change in circumstances".
One person said: "Various issues were cited, including access, a lack of amenities and possible impact on the church to name a few.
"I feel this is a speculative venture that will not enhance the village, but would cause disruption and danger, given the road layout and proximity of the proposed dwellings".
Norfolk County Council, acting as the local highways authority, also objected, citing "inadequate visibility splays" that would cause "danger and inconvenience" to users of the adjoining public highway.

The council added: "The applicant has failed to demonstrate that access visibility in accordance with current standards is achievable over land within their control or that which forms part of the public highway.
"As such, it does not appear that safe and suitable access for all users can be provided for any plot".
The proposals were confirmed to have been withdrawn on October 28, with no indication on whether or not they will be resubmitted.
