The sounds of Ibiza's world-famous superclubs are heading to Dereham this month.
DJ Slipmatt, an award-winning DJ who has played all over the world, will be headlining a night at The Chameleon Club, in Strikes bowling alley, on Saturday.
The event is to celebrate the first birthday of electronic and euphoric trance club night Rapture.
DJ Slipmatt, also called Matthew Nelson, has been a professional DJ for two decades and is known as the Godfather of Rave.
He regularly plays sets in many of Ibiza's superclubs including Space, Es Paradise, Eden and San Antonio's West End, as well as playing sets in clubs in America, Australia, Thailand and all over Europe.
He has also earned a number of accolades including an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry from Kiss 100.
Dereham DJ and Rapture promoter Lee Rudd, aka Ruddaz, said: 'A DJ of this status and calibre has never been anywhere close to Dereham, but has had a large local following for decades.'
Lee is a popular figure in the East Anglian club scene with a regular slot at Pam's House club night in Norwich. He will be one of the acts supporting DJ Slipmatt alongside DJ Devastation and Paul King.
The club night is from 8pm until 2am.
Early bird tickets cost 5 each and there will be a limited number of tickets available on the door.
