Bag snatch in Dereham town centre

An elderly woman had a shopping bag stolen from her home in Dereham town centre.

The victim returned to her property off the High Street and as she entered the garden she saw a male running from scene with a bag containing cash, a mobile phone and glasses.

The victim returned to her property off the High Street and as she entered the garden she saw a male running from scene with a bag containing cash, a mobile phone and glasses.

The theft happened at around 4.45pm on Tuesday, May 11 and anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or knows anything about the crime should contact PC Nicola Fountain at Dereham Police Station on 0845 456 4567 or anonymously by calling Crimestopers on 0800 555 111.
