Young people are taking to the streets to serve the community and the airwaves to entertain and inform local people this week as part of an Easter project in Mid Norfolk.
SOAK (Social Action in Breckland) runs from Tuesday to Friday and young people and leaders will be donning sky blue t-shirts and carrying out work from path clearing to litter picking to gardening to visiting people in need.
North Breckland Youth for Christ along with Dereham Community Support Centre, All Saints Church at Mattishall and St Nicholas Church in Dereham are co-ordinating the work.
On each morning the young people aged 11-18 will meet together in Trinity Methodist Dereham for a time of worship, teaching and preparation before going out to do the practical work in Dereham, Swanton Morley, Mattishall, Shipdham and Scarning.
NBYFC director Ang Fox said: 'We had an amazing time last year and look forward to serving more people during this year's event. We welcome help from others who are happy to roll up their sleeves and join us.'
Updates on the team's work will be among the features on Breckfest Youth Radio, which is running alongside SOAK all week.
It is on air live from 7am-9pm from Tuesday-Friday in Dereham and surrounding areas on 87.9FM and also online at www.northbrecklandyfc.org.uk
