Breckland Council is reminding residents about the importance of recycling their Easter egg packaging - and reminding them that refuse collections this week are a day later than normal.

According to statistics Easter produces an extra 3,000 tonnes of waste in the UK every year, mainly due to the packaging that comes with the 80 million chocolate Easter eggs sold nationwide.

Collections will return to normal on Monday, April 12.
