Reach Out, Outreach has been awarded a �500 grant to run art sessions at a Portuguese caf� in Dereham as part of a �60,000 package of aid given out by Breckland councillors for a range of community projects last week.
Reach Out, Outreach has been awarded a �500 grant to run art sessions at a Portuguese caf� in Dereham as part of a �60,000 package of aid given out by Breckland councillors for a range of community projects last week. The biggest donation was �24,000 for the thriving Wayland Radio, the station which was given a full-time licence to broadcast on 107.3FM last autumn. Some shows are broadcast in Portuguese and Polish.
Breckland's cabinet agreed to give a grant of �24,000 from the area based grant settlement to help the station.
