A celebrated children's author has officially opened a new library at the North Elmham Primary School.
Author Julia Jarman opened the new school library on Thursday following months of fundraising by the Friends of North Elmham School (FONES).
The library has been completely refurbished and now holds a large collection of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
'We are delighted that the new library is now open,' said Robert Warner, chair of governors at North Elmham Primary.
'Money is tight in education and the school couldn't afford to do this without significant support. The fundraising has been a wonderful collaborative project between the school and the wider community. I thank everyone who has played a part but in particular must mention the Friends of North Elmham School who have worked so hard to raise money in a number of enjoyable ways.'
