Celebrity chefs Richard Bainbridge and Charlie Hodson will be putting pub regulars' cooking skills to the test, in a bake-off competition being held for the second year running at the Fox, at Lyng, near Dereham.

Richard, who is a former winner of BBC2's Great British Menu, and Charlie, who is a regular on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, will be joining Fox head chef Vic Rowling on the judging panel of the contest, which culminates on June 15 with a garden party with live music.

The bake-off will run from this month, with contestants invited to submit their entries every Thursday.

Weekly winners will be chosen by customers, with £3 entry fees and the proceeds from the sale of bakes going to Lyng Primary School and the village nursery.

Fox owner Victoria Hunt said: 'We were all so thrilled with the support we got from the public last year and I am really pleased that both Richard and Charlie are keen to be involved again this year.'
