John Morgan, of Mattishall Lane, Hockering, is due before Swaffham magistrates on April 1 accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent on Stewart Hewitt, 47, and violent disorder at Heath Road, Lyng, last October.
Morgan has been released on conditional bail.
Two other men aged 43 and 46 and a 43-year-old woman were also arrested after the incident. They have been released from the inquiry without charge.
