t Students and teachers at Dereham Sixth Form Centre took part in a wide range of activities to raise cash. Staff normally in suits wore hoodies and the rest of the college participated in a fancy dress day, where students tried to outdo each other with outrageous attire.

Among many of the adventurous costumes were Cat Woman and Scooby Doo, who were handing out hugs and biscuits for 50 pence a piece. Among the other activities were a name the baby competition and the bring a bear day.

Students also raised money outside of school, where pupils wandered Dereham town centre in their costumes, armed with collection boxes. Attracting attention from the public in their outrageous dress choices, groups of students were able to wander back to the college, happy in the knowledge that they had filled their collection boxes.
